Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of the endoscopic midface lift technique, focusing on postoperative outcomes in Middle Eastern patients with Awl Passer suspension suturing technique. Background: Midface aging involves volume loss, tissue descent, and skin changes, affecting facial aesthetics. Correction is key for full rejuvenation, especially in lower eyelid procedures. Methods: Twenty patients (ages 30–65) underwent endoscopic midface lifting under standardized general anesthesia. The procedure involved dual access (temporal and intraoral), supraperiosteal dissection, and fascial suspension sutures fixed in the temporal region with a vertical vector using an awl passer. Demographic and procedural data were recorded for analysis. Results: Postoperative assessments demonstrated a significant enhancement in midface contour, with an average increase in midface height (p < 0.001). Post operative Edema was the most frequently observed complication, occurring in 80% of cases, while minor asymmetry was very rare and recurrence were in 10 %. Overall, patient satisfaction was high, with 65% rating the results as excellent. Conclusion: The endoscopic dual access midface lift with Awl Passer suspension technique offers an effective option for midface rejuvenation, providing high satisfaction rates and a low incidence of complications. Given these promising outcomes, this minimally invasive approach is recommended for wider application to achieve enhanced patient satisfaction.
