About This Journal

Menoufia Medical Journal (ISSN - Print: 1110-2098, Online: 2314-6788) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Faculty of Medicine (menofia.edu.eg). The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of General Medicine. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.

The journal has been established in 1987 with 2- volume per year and 20-30 publications then in 2013 it joined Woltr Klouer Med Know as a publisher. In this stage there were 4-volume/year with nearly 200 publications. Now it is now a peer reviewed open access journal. The journal will publish each article once it is finally proofed.

Average time from submission to first decision is 21 days, and 60 days to final publication.

Open Access Policy and Creative Commons Licensing

Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0): for non-commercial purposes, allows users to copy, to create extracts, abstracts and new works from the Article, to alter and revise the Article, provided this is not done for commercial purposes, and that the user gives appropriate credit (with a link to the formal publication through the relevant DOI), provides a link to the license, indicates if changes were made and the licensor is not represented as endorsing the use made of the work. Digital Archiving

MMJ is preserved in CLOCKSS and Portico, the two leading preservation archives that guarantee persistent access for the very long term.

Articles also receive Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) from the CrossRef organization to ensure they can always be found.
